Frequently Asked Questions

What does a presidential system include?

One system covers a single podium with two mirrors on either side of the podium. We also are equiped to offer double podium systems that cover two podiums, bringing the total glass panels to four.

What size is recommend for an
on camera video shoot?

Many variables come into play when answering this question. How is the eyesight of the reader? How far away are they from the camera? Our goal is to make things as easy for the on camera talent as possible, and determining the answers to these questions helps us know what size to suggest. We’d love to talk to you about the specifics of your shoot.

Can you edit scripts onsite?

Yes. We use a program called Telescript Pro that let’s us modify the script while still in the program. We can bold, italicize, or underline any words, copy and paste, delete, etc. We do requests having the files in hand before we arrive so we can view the script and identify any potential issues ahead of the event.

How do I know what kind of teleprompter I need?

It’s simple! If you’re standing behind a podium, you’ll want a presidential system. If you want the ability to walk around the stage, you’ll want a Down Stage Monitor (DSM) system. If you are doing a live or recorded video shoot where the talent is looking directly to the camera while reading, you’ll want an on camera system.

What type of file do we need for scripts?

Just a simple word file works best. This lets us manipulate the font, size, and other aspects before inputting them into our teleprompting system. We prefer not to receive PDFs and, specifically, scripts in a table format.
